1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how NoteLive accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the NoteLive website and its optional Google Drive backup feature.

2. Notes stored in your browser

Your notebooks, note content, embedded images, and editor settings are stored in your browser using local storage. NoteLive does not transmit note content to its server during ordinary local use.

Local data remains on that browser until you delete it, clear the site's browser data, or replace it by restoring a backup.

3. Optional Google Drive backup

Google Drive access is optional and is requested only when you choose a Google Drive backup or restore command.

  • Data accessed: NoteLive accesses the NoteLive backup folder and backup files that it creates in your Google Drive, including file names, IDs, sizes, modification times, backup contents, and the browser name and device platform saved with each backup.
  • Permission: NoteLive requests the drive.file scope, which limits access to files created by or explicitly used with NoteLive. It does not grant NoteLive unrestricted access to all files in your Drive.
  • Use: Google Drive data is used only to create timestamped NoteLive backups, display available backup versions, and restore the backup you select.
  • Storage and transfer: Backup contents travel directly between your browser and Google Drive. NoteLive does not store your Drive backup contents or Google OAuth access token on its server.
  • Access token: The OAuth access token is kept only in page memory for the current session and is not saved to browser local storage.
  • Sharing: NoteLive does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.

NoteLive's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

4. Website analytics and technical data

NoteLive uses a self-hosted Matomo analytics endpoint at data.net.deal to understand page visits and link interactions. Analytics may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, timestamps, and analytics identifiers or first-party cookies.

Note content, Google Drive backup contents, and Google OAuth access tokens are not sent to the analytics service.

5. Disclosure and service providers

Information may be processed by infrastructure and analytics providers only as needed to operate, secure, and understand NoteLive. When you use Google Drive features, Google processes your information under the Google Privacy Policy. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

6. Retention and deletion

  • Browser notes remain until you clear or replace them.
  • Drive backups remain in your Google Drive until you delete them.
  • Access tokens expire and are discarded when the page session ends.
  • Technical analytics data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and evaluate the service.

7. Your choices and controls

You can use NoteLive without connecting Google Drive. You can delete local notes through NoteLive or your browser settings, delete the NoteLive Backups folder in Google Drive, and revoke NoteLive's Google access from your Google Account permissions.

8. Security

NoteLive uses HTTPS in production and requests a narrowly scoped Google Drive permission. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should keep independent copies of important information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when NoteLive's features or data practices change. The latest version and its effective date will remain available on this page.

1. 浏览器本地笔记

笔记本、笔记内容、嵌入图片和编辑器设置通过本地存储保存在你的浏览器中。正常使用本地笔记时，NoteLive 不会将笔记内容传输至其服务器。

本地数据会一直保留，直到你主动删除、清除该网站的浏览器数据，或通过恢复备份替换这些数据。

2. 可选的 Google Drive 备份

Google Drive 功能完全可选；只有当你主动选择备份或恢复操作时，NoteLive 才会请求授权。

  • 访问的数据：NoteLive 会访问其在你的 Google Drive 中创建的备份文件夹及备份文件，包括文件名称、ID、大小、修改时间、备份内容，以及随每份备份保存的浏览器名称和系统/设备平台。
  • 授权范围：NoteLive 请求 drive.file 权限，仅允许访问由 NoteLive 创建或由你明确用于 NoteLive 的文件，不会取得读取整个 Google Drive 的权限。
  • 使用目的：Google Drive 数据仅用于创建带时间戳的 NoteLive 备份、显示可用备份版本，以及恢复你选择的备份。
  • 存储与传输：备份内容直接在你的浏览器与 Google Drive 之间传输。NoteLive 不会在自己的服务器上保存 Drive 备份内容或 Google OAuth access token。
  • 访问令牌：OAuth access token 仅在当前页面会话的内存中临时保存，不会写入浏览器本地存储。
  • 共享：NoteLive 不会出售 Google 用户数据，不会将其用于广告，也不会将其提供给数据经纪商。

NoteLive 对通过 Google API 获得的信息的使用和传输遵守 Google API Services User Data Policy，包括其中的 Limited Use 要求。

3. 网站统计与技术数据

NoteLive 使用位于 data.net.deal 的自托管 Matomo 统计服务了解页面访问和链接交互。统计服务可能处理 IP 地址、浏览器及设备信息、来源页面、时间戳，以及统计标识符或第一方 Cookie 等技术信息。

笔记内容、Google Drive 备份内容和 Google OAuth access token 不会发送至统计服务。

基础设施和统计服务提供商仅会在运行、保护及分析 NoteLive 所必需的范围内处理信息。当你使用 Google Drive 功能时，Google 会依据其 隐私政策处理相关信息。法律要求或保护用户及服务安全所必要时，我们也可能披露相关信息。

5. 保存与删除

  • 浏览器笔记会保留至你主动清除或替换。
  • Drive 备份会保留至你在自己的 Google Drive 中删除。
  • Access token 到期或页面会话结束后会被丢弃。
  • 技术统计数据仅在运行、保护和评估服务所合理需要的期限内保存。

6. 你的选择与控制

你无需连接 Google Drive 即可使用 NoteLive。你可以通过 NoteLive 或浏览器设置删除本地笔记，在 Google Drive 中删除 NoteLive Backups 文件夹，或在 Google 账号权限页面撤销 NoteLive 的访问权限。

7. 安全

NoteLive 在正式环境使用 HTTPS，并仅请求范围有限的 Google Drive 权限。任何在线服务都无法保证绝对安全，重要信息建议另行保留独立副本。

8. 政策变更

NoteLive 功能或数据处理方式发生变化时，我们可能更新本政策。最新版本及生效日期会持续公布在本页面。
